These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Site and Services. By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.   • "Services" refers to the security audit services, including smart contract reviews, fuzzing campaigns or development of smart contracts, provided by Coverage Labs Lda.

Coverage Labs Lda. offers security audit, fuzzing campaigns and development services for smart contracts, including but not limited to technical reviews, vulnerability assessments, and post-audit support, as detailed on the Site. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at our discretion, provided such changes do not breach contractual obligations. Services are subject to availability and may require registration or payment, as specified in Section 10.

5. Use of Forms for Quotations

To request a quotation for our Services, you may be required to complete a form on the Site, providing certain information as specified (e.g., contact details, project details, or professional information). You agree to:

  1. Provide accurate, current, and complete information in the form.
  2. Use the form solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  3. We may reject or decline to process requests containing incomplete, false, or misleading information. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the form or related Services in the event of non-compliance with these Terms or applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use of the Site and Services

You agree to use the Site and Services solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site and Content for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law, including the Consumer Protection Act (Law No. 24/96), Coverage Labs Lda. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Services, including interruptions, errors, or data loss, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply to damages resulting from breaches of consumer rights or statutory obligations under Portuguese law.

9. Indisponibility and Interruptions

The Site and Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, cyberattacks). We will endeavor to minimize disruptions and notify users in advance where possible. Coverage Labs shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from such interruptions, except as required by law.

10. Payments and Invoices

Services may require payment as specified on the Site. Payment methods include [bank transfer, cryptocurrency (Ethereum, USDC)]. All payments are due within [30 days] of invoice issuance. Invoices will be issued in accordance with Portuguese VAT law (Code of VAT, Decree-Law No. 71/2007), including our NIF [518199908], and comply with applicable tax regulations. Late payments may incur interest and fees as permitted by law.

11. Refund and Cancellation Policy

You may cancel Services within 14 days of purchase or agreement, as provided under Portuguese consumer law (Law No. 24/96), provided no services have been performed. Refunds are subject to our discretion and applicable law, and we reserve the right to withhold fees for services already rendered. Post-cancellation, ongoing obligations (e.g., data retention) will be governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Site and Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Portuguese data protection laws. By using our Services, you consent to such processing as described in the Privacy Policy, including the use of tools like Google Analytics and Google Sheets, subject to your rights under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved through mediation or, if unsuccessful, submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts in Lisbon. You may also refer complaints to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), regarding data protection matters.

14. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Coverage Labs Lda. regarding the Site and Services. The official language of these Terms is Portuguese, with the English version provided as a courtesy translation. Notices to you may be sent via email or posted on the Site.
